Hi!

My name is Mónica, but only the government calls me by that name. You, can call me Mo.

I live my life in t-shirts and leggings.

I am an immigrant from Colombia.

I have lived in Jacksonville since 2002.

I am married to my best friend and have two teenagers.

I go to Disney World about once a month.

I listen to the Hamilton soundtrack to hype myself up.

My guilty pleasure are podcasts. The more mysterious, the better.

I freaking love sports!

I love doing laundry, but hate cooking.

My love language is cheese.

About Mo

Hi!

When I was little all I knew I wanted to be when I grew up was a mom.

After dedicating my twenties to these two cuties, I decided my thirties would be for me.

That came with jumping out of a plane, visiting places I've never been to, and buying my first camera.

It was then, when I realized I barely have any photos of us together. They have tons of photos, but I am rarely in them.

And I know I am not the only one. We get the maternity photos, we do the whole newborn session... But what happened in the middle? Where are the birth photos?

Let's chat!

My birth story

Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of my first birth - I barely even have any maternity photos.

With my second one, her dad got a hold of the camera and grabbed a few.

This pregnancy was really hard.
I went into early labor at 24 weeks. Hello bed rest!
I also fell on my tummy once and broke my big toe another time.

At the end, she was born at 32 weeks, as healthy and beautiful as she could be. She was "practically perfect in every way"... Please tell me you got that Mary Poppins reference...

Let's get you these photos!

Why motherhood photography?

Anyway...

This moment, was the culmination of 8 long and suffered months. Her birth was quick and amazing!

She will forever be my last baby. I will never be able to recreate this moment, so these photos mean the world to me.

You, deserve these... but better!

"Mónica is such a pleasure to work with! She truly loves what she does and that passion shines through in her photos."
